DOYL horizontal packaging machines for automatic filling of flat and doypack bags work on the basis of sequential filling and closing of bags. The bags are first inflated to get their shape and then filled with the exact amount of product. The bag is then sealed by thermoforming and, if necessary, a zip-lock closure or other features can be added for easy opening.
Container– The container for up to 300 empty bags is very easy to convert to another size. The hopper allows for smooth running of the machine.
Bag opening– Bags are individually removed from the hopper by means of vacuum suction cups, which can be easily adjusted according to the shape and type of bag.
Bag detection- The presence of the bag is monitored during the dosing process.
Dosing– Prior to dosing, a dispenser is inserted into the open bag to protect the weld from soiling, opens the bag for easy dosing and serves as a catch pocket for certain types of goods.
Sealing- After dosing, the bag is sealed at the same point, eliminating weld misalignment with the end of the bag. Temperature is easily adjustable from the control panel
